Dear Fellow Columbian,

We are living in unprecedented times, and hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
 
Columbia University has taken all the necessary measures to keep its community safe against the backdrop of the mounting Covid-19 infection in New York: it has shut down its New York campus and online classes have started on March 30th. Most faculty and staff are working remotely due to health and safety precautions. 

At CAA Greece we have postponed our in-person events until further notice by the university. In the meantime, as many parts of the university are also actively working to mitigate the pandemic as well as to quantify and understand its consequences, we thought you may be interested in a recent Columbia news Spotlight email explaining some of the efforts our university is taking to combat Covid-19.
