Join us on a Sunday morning walk to meet some of the fine examples of modern architecture focusing on the famous apartment buildings of the 1930s Kolonaki by our alumni guide Dr Kostas Tsiambaos, Lecturer at the NTUA School of Architecture.

Let the story begin......

In August 1933 some of the international protagonists of modern architecture were walking around Athens. Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto, Siegfried Giedion were among those attending the 4th CIAM (international congress of modern architecture).

At that time, Athens was not still a modern city but a few, exceptional, modern buildings were already built.

.... Come and see the fine examples of modern architecture on this first tour focusing on the famous apartment buildings of the 1930s Kolonaki.
